William Dallas Thomas

William Dallas Thomas, age 76, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Mr. Thomas was born on May 4, 1948 in Evansville, IN to the late Harley Evans Thomas and Ida Irene Fulton Thomas. He was a construction contractor and the owner of Dallas Thomas Construction. Mr. Thomas was a member of the First Christian Church in Dawson Springs and he attended the Ilsley Community Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved University of Kentucky Basketball. He was also a very active member of Ecumenical Cursillo.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of 55 years ~ Barbara Ann Bratcher Thomas of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Christy (Robert) Bruch of St. Charles, KY; two sons ~ Phillip (Jennifer) Thomas of Indialantic, FL and Brian Thomas of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Marion Baugh of Newburgh, IN; two brothers ~ Norman (Millie) Thomas of Dawson Springs, KY and James Elvin (Sharon) Thomas of Henderson, KY; thirteen grandchildren ~ Devan Baker, Dylan Baker, Daylyn Bruch, Chipper Bruch, Bradleigh Sutherland, Jaslynn Thomas, Luke Thomas, Holden Thomas, Chance Alfred, Brandi Alfred, Mikaylah Faith, Braxton Faith and Braden Faith; twelve great-grandchildren ~ Weston Sutherland, Kamron Orten, Brittany Chappel, Christian Faith, Caden Alfred, Preston Alfred, Lawson Alfred, Kingston Alfred, Leighton Chappel, Livingston Chappel, Brecklynn Orten and Denver Orten.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for William Dallas Thomas will be on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Danny Earl, Rev. Jason Buckman, Rev. Joey Chaney and Mr. Kenny Quinton officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY. 

Active Pallbearers will be: Devan Baker, Luke Thomas, Steven Durbin, Dylan Baker, Blair Lamb and Chance Alfred. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenny Quinton and Kamron Orten.
