Wanda Purdy Sisk

Wanda Christine Purdy Sisk, age 85, of Austin, TX, formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 Austin, TX. She was born on April 4, 1935 to the late William Purdy and Ethel Mae Brown Purdy. Mrs. Sisk worked as a factory worker for many years and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Princeton, KY.



Mrs. Sisk is survived by a daughter ~ Teresa Griffin; a son ~ Donald Sisk, Jr., three grandchildren ~ Daniel Sisk, Tammy Boehman and Kali Havlick; five great-grandchildren ~ Amaya, Isaac, Boehman, Quinten and Kaiya; three sisters ~ Dean Ausenbaugh, Faye Kittinger and Patsy Purdy; two brothers ~ David Purdy and Dwight Purdy; several cousins, nieces and nephews.



Preceding Mrs. Sisk in death were her parents; her husband ~ Donald Sisk, Sr., and three sisters ~ Norma Tomes, Ella Mae Brown and Cathy Darlene Purdy.



Visitation for Mrs. Wanda Christine Purdy Sisk will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating.



Pallbearers will be Cody Hooks,Tammy Boehman, Kali Havlick, Jason Thacker, Larry Ausenbaugh and Danny Jenkins.



In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
