Virginia Hamby Adams

Virginia Eudenah Hamby Adams, age 87, of Dawson Springs, KY formerly of Christian County, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Adams was born on September 16, 1930 in Christian County, KY to the late Thomas Ulis “Tude” Hamby and Ruth Lee Bennett Henley. She worked in the grandparent program at Outwood Hospital and was a member of the Dawson Springs Gospel Assembly Church.



Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Meryl and Steve Clements of Madisonville, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law ~ Ralph and Phyllis Adams of Tiline, KY, Winston & Day Adams of Dawson Springs, KY and Timothy and Debbie 14Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; a brothers ~ Alvin Paul Hamby of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother and sister-in-law ~ Olis and Juanita Hamby of Hopkinsville, KY; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Oakle J. Adams (departed 12/23/1978); daughters ~ Martha June Adams and Nelda Adams and sons ~ Mark Gregory Adams and Jonathan Adams.



Visitation for Virginia Hamby Adams will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home.
