Virgil Lee Cooper

Virgil Lee Cooper, age 84, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Cooper was born on June 6, 1940 in Breckenridge, TX to the late Edward Cooper and Ida Alexander Cooper. He was a retired electrician.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife of 34 years ~ Lana Dale Veal Cooper of Dawson Springs, KY; four daughters ~ Lori (James) Robinson and Linda (Dale) Merrick of Princeton, KY, Susan (Jerry) Murray of Florida and Brenda Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter ~ Leeann Coper; a sister ~ Florence Kloberdanz; brothers ~ Troy Cooper, Bob Cooper and Tom Cooper; and a grandson ~ Tyler Adams.

Celebration of Life Services for Virgil Lee Cooper will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 3:00 PM at The American Legion, 856 Legion Drive, Madisonville, KY 42431.
