Sandra Kay Vannoy

Sandra Kay Howton Vannoy, age 71, of Earlington, KY, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital, Newburgh, IN. Mrs. Vannoy was born on February 24, 1947 in Charleston, KY to the late William Audrey Howton and Mary Olivine Gunther Howton. Mrs. Vannoy was a CNA and worked in several area nursing homes. Additionally, she worked for a canning firm in Earlington, KY for many years. She was a member of the Star of Bethlehem Church.



She is survived by four daughters ~ LaDonna Kay (J.T.) Lee of White Plains, Stacy (Jon) Harrell of Madisonville, KY, Christy (David) Law of Earlington, KY and Shellie (Kyle) Rambo of Ilsley, KY; one son ~ Timmy (Lori) Vannoy of Earlington, KY; two brothers ~ Larry Howton of Hopkinsville, KY, Billy (Judy) Howton of Madisonville, KY; four sisters ~ Joyce (Ray) Doss of Madisonville, KY, Rhonda (Billy) Wall of Barnsley, KY, Barbara Wall of Ilsley, KY, and Mary Knight of Dawson Springs, KY; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years ~ Sydney Vannoy (departed 12-26-2012).



Visitation for Mrs. Sandra Kay Howton Vannoy will be Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the service time at 2:00 PM at the Praise Temple Apostolic Church, 725 W. Noel Avenue, Madisonville, KY. Rev. Philip Cook, Rev. Brad Giffin and Rev. Monty Fuller will officiate. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Earlington, KY.



Active Pallbearers are: Chris Lee, Josh Vannoy, Jake Law, Jonathan Harrell, Blake Harrell, Jericho Vannoy and Jordan Harrell. Honorary Pallbearers include Jayden Law, Lucas Rambo, and Elliott Law.
