Rosie Mae Jones

Rosie Mae Jones, age 65, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at her residence. Ms. Jones was born on May 4, 1956 in Dalton, KY to George David Adamson and Nellie Creekmur Adamson. She was a mother and homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.



Ms. Jones is survived by five daughters, Sharon (Robert) Johnson of Arkansas, Karen Jones, Lisa Jones and Rose Ann Jones of Dawson Springs, KY, and Amy Keen of Cadiz, KY; two brothers, William Adamson of Ilsley, KY and Harold Adamson of Dawson Springs, KY; two sisters, Shirley Menser and Geraldine Skimehorn of Dawson Springs, KY; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.



Preceding Ms. Jones in death are her parents; four brothers, James Adamson, Kenneth Adamson, Weldon Adamson and Rufus Adamson; and two sisters, Blondel Walker and Effie Mae Adamson.



Visitation for Rosie Mae Jones will be Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, and on Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Butch McKnight, officiating. Burial will follow at Dunn Cemetery
