Richard Timothy "Rick" Johnson

Richard Timothy “Rick” Johnson, age 61, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at his residence. Mr. Johnson was born on March 4, 1963 in Ohio to the late Richard Putman Johnson and Lena Fay Marshall Johnson. He worked for many years for the Dawson Springs Sewer and Water Department and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter ~ Melissa Faye (J.J.) Johnson of Dawson Springs, KY; his sister ~ Jacqueline “Jackie” (Jim) Gordon of Louisville, KY; two grandchildren ~ Sophia Faye Johnson and Ethan Laine Johnson and his best friend ~ Melvin Todd of Dawson Springs, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Richard Timothy “Rick” Johnson will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the memorial service hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Pastor Kathy Redden officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
