Richard David Hickerson

Richard David Hickerson, age 71, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Tradewater Health and Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Hickerson was born on September 7, 1947 in Madisonville, KY to the late Harold David Hickerson, Jr. and Wanna Elaine Lisanby Thomas. He retired from Regional Medical Center where he worked as Registered Nurse and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs, KY.

Mr. Hickerson is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Stephanie and Timmy Johnston of Dawson Springs, KY; a son ~ Eric Hickerson of Paducah, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Chad and Misty Hickerson of Dawson Springs, KY; two brothers and sisters-in-law ~ Andy and Kathy Hickerson of Dawson Springs, KY and Carl and Amy Hickerson of Lincoln, NE; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew ~ Jason Hickerson.



Visitation for Mr. Richard David Hickerson will be on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, April 24 from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 with Rev. David Warren and Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be: Caleb Hickerson, Joseph Johnston, Nathan Bearden, Caden Hickerson, Steven Bearden and Kevin Abbott. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Montgomery Johnston, Colton Dismang, Isiah Abbott, Christian Abbott, Charles Abbott, and Keith Dismang.
