Rev. Noah Monroe Rambo

Rev. Noah Monroe Rambo, age 88, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the West Kentucky Veterans Center, Hanson, KY. Rev. Rambo was born on October 29, 1926 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Noah Rambo and Mary Lovell Rambo. He was a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ all of his life. Rev. Rambo was a graduate of Charleston High School and he was of the Penecostal Faith. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Germany.



Rev. Rambo is survived by his loving wife of 67 years ~ Anna Jo Lee Rambo of Madisonville, KY, a daughter ~ Sandra (Rev. Dwight) Darnell of Madisonville, KY, a son ~ Timothy (Jennifer) Rambo of Hopkinsville, KY, one sister ~ Hilda (Bob) Bullock of Dawson Springs, KY, three brothers ~ “Bucky” (Mae) Rambo of Brentwood, TN, Jackie (Shirley) Rambo of Dawson Springs, KY, and Rev. Donald (Betty) Rambo of Dawson Springs, KY, seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.



Preceding Rev. Rambo in death are his parents, a daughter ~ Barbara Jo Brasher (departed 6-4-2012), three brothers ~ Raymond Rambo, Doug Rambo, and Bennie Rambo, three sisters ~ Mary Agnes Ausenbaugh, June Baird, AmmaNell Buntin and an infant sister ~ Margaret Pearl Rambo.



Visitation for Rev. Noah Monroe Rambo will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY, and on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Rev. Donald Rambo will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Military rites will be provided by an honor guard from Fort Campbell, KY and the Hopkins County Honor Guard.



Pallbearers will be Kyle Rambo, Jake Brasher, Taylor Darnell, Jason Darnell, Kevin Dukes, and Brandon Darnell.
