Rev. Michael L. Moschenrose

Rev. Michael L. Moschenrose, age 70, of Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Rev. Moschenrose was born on February 2, 1953 to the late Joe Archie Moschenrose and Evelyn Newfarmer. For many years he owned and operated Moschenrose Jewelry in Marshall, IL and Moser Jewelry in Tipton, IN. He earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary and was the pastor at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Dawson Springs, KY.

Survivors include his beloved wife ~ Susan Kim Beamer Moschenrose of Hopkinsville, KY; a daughter ~ Sunday Moschenrose of Springfield, IL; a son ~ Travis Moschenrose of Japan; a step-daughter ~ Lindsay Poe of Elwood, IN; a brother and sister-in-law ~ Rev. Phillip and Jane Moschenrose of Virginia; a special nephew ~ John (Shelley) Crouch of IL; a few grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Jim and LaWanna Beamer; sister-in-law, Dawn Beamer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife ~ Teresa Moschenrose and a sister ~ Doris Walburn.

A visitation for Rev. Michael L. Moschenrose will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 1:00 until the funeral hour at 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, 201 N. Main St., Dawson Springs, KY 42408 with Rev. Rachel Nance-Woehler officiating.
