Opal Charlene Kaebel

Opal Charlene “Charlie” Kaebel, age 86, of Columbus, OH and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in Columbus, OH. Mrs. Kaebel was born on March 5, 1921 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Virgil Stills and Ella Elizabeth Haile Stills. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus, OH.



Survivors include a son ~ Richard Kaebel of Fallon, Nevada; sisters ~ Gertrude Stills Oldham and Mary Katherine Stills of Madisonville, KY; grandsons ~ George Kaebel and Rick Kaebel of Columbus, OH; great-granddaughters ~ Ashley and Amanda Kaebel.



Mrs. Kaebel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ George Kaebel; sisters ~ Myrtle Wyatt Littlepage, Sally Beasley, Rebecca Armstrong and Margaret Martin.



Visitation for Mrs. Opal Charlene “Charlie” Kaebel will be Friday, February 29, 2008 from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Wayne Lamb will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY.
