Ollie Lee Hale

Ollie Lee Hale, age 92, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. Mrs. Hale was born on March 6, 1916 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Arthur Herron and Bessie Jane Harris Herron. She was the manager of the Charleston School lunchroom for 30 years and was a member of Charleston Baptist Church in Charleston, KY.



Survivors include three daughters ~ Anna Ruth Gillespie of Hopkinsville, KY, Wilma Earl Laffoon and Judy Fox of Dawson Springs, KY; Grandchildren ~ Julie Antee, Laura Gillespie, Allen Fox and Will Fox; and a great-granddaughter ~ Abigail Ramey.



Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband ~ Earl Laffoon (departed 1/23/1945); her second husband ~ Clarence Allen Hale (departed 8/5/1967); a sister ~ Marie Herron; a brother ~ Audria Herron and two step-sons ~ Gene Hale and Gerry Hale.



Visitation for Mrs. Ollie Lee Hale will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 9, 2008 from 8:00 Am until the 11:00 AM funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Rev. Calvin Bryant will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery in Charleston, KY.
