Nita Rae Dunbar, age 84, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Facility, Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Dunbar was born on April 19, 1935 in Smith County, Mississippi to the late Grover Cleveland and Beulah Wilkins Lancaster. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Ilsley Community Church.



Mrs. Dunbar is survived by a daughter ~ Wanda Gayle Salina of Brandon, Mississippi, two grandchildren ~ Derek Dunn and Bryan Storey, three great-grandchildren ~ Destinee Storey, Isaac Storey and Case Dunn, and one sister ~ Melva Courtney of Pearl, Mississippi.



Mrs. Dunbar is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband ~ D.O. Dunbar, two sisters ~ Lillian N. Bailey, N. Lucille Baker, and six brothers ~ Fermon Wesley Lancaster, Hugh O. Lancaster, William Woodard Lancaster, Chester Clyde Lancaster, Ray Ford Dale Lancaster and Albert Franklin Lancaster.



Visitation for Mrs. Nita Rae Dunbar will be Thursday, June 13, 2019, from 2:00 PM until the Memorial Service hour at 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Chaplain K. C. Klarner and Rev. Larry Phaup will officiate the Memorial Service.
