Niles O. Dillingham

Niles O. Dillingham, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson, KY. Mr. Dillingham was born on September 13, 1917 in Caldwell County, KY to the late Edd M and Bessie Ausenbaugh Dillingham. He was the owner and publisher of the Dawson Springs Progress and was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Madisonville, KY. Mr. Dillingham served his country in the United States Army during World War II serving in the South Pacific.



Survivors include his wife of 58 years ~ Pollyanna Orange Dillingham of Dawson Springs, KY; a son and daughter-in-law ~ Scott and Beth Dillingham of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Mana Little of Farmville, VA; and two grandchildren ~ Mandi and Robert Dillingham.



Mr. Dillingham was preceded in death by his parents; a brother ~ Norris N. Dillingham; a sister ~ Doris Dockery and a son ~ Jed Dillingham (departed 11/12/2007).



Visitation for Mr. Niles O. Dillingham will be Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Robert Dillingham, Jon Harned, Donnie Egbert, Harry Campbell, John (Pat) Rhody and Kent Dillingham will serve as pallbearers.
