Ms. Vada Powell

Vada Powell, age 92, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 her residence. Mrs. Powell was born on July 16, 1924 in Sebree, KY to the late Ira Ipock and Eva Todd Ipock. She was a beloved mother and housewife and was of the Christian faith.



Mrs. Powell is survived by three daughters ~ Patricia Brown of Newport News, VA, Phyllis Miskell of Poquson, VA and Connie Hinkle of Burgaw, NC; four sons ~ Gary Powell of Yorktown, VA, Homer Powell of Dawson Springs, KY, Scott Powell of Dawson Springs, KY and Allen Powell of Dawson Springs, KY; many grandchildren and greaet-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband ~ Homer A. Powell (deceased 4/23/2003).



Graveside services for Mrs. Vada Powell will be on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating.



Pallbearers will be Bobby Hooper, David Cunningham, Kurt Stallins, Eric Stallins, Jr. Phelps, Don Wheeler, and Mike Walker.
