Ms. Roena Janet Moore

Roena Janet Moore age 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Ridgewood Terrace, Madisonville, KY. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on May 27, 1932 to the late Erman Lewis Good and Flossie Ann Rambo Good. Ms. Moore worked for 10 years at Arvin Industries, the New Century Hotel Coffee Shop as a young lady, and she helped her husband manage and operate Moore’s Grocery. She was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Church, Madisonville and a 1949 graduate of Charleston High School.



She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law~ Kay and Rev. Jim Tate, Hendersonville, TN, a son and daughter-in-law~ Rev. Kenneth L. and Carol Moore, Goodlettsville, TN, two grandchildren~ Ryan L. Moore and Rebekah Jane Moore.



Ms. Moore is preceded in death by her parents, her husband~ William Verlan Moore (departed 1-28-11), two brothers~ Lewis Good, J. C. Good, and a sister~ Alberta Louise Sisk.



Funeral services for Roena Janet Moore will be conducted by Rev. Ron Hendricks on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11 AM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs. Friends may call at her visitation beginning on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM and on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour, 11 AM at Beshear Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rosedale Cemetery.
