Ms. Janice Johnson

Janice Johnson, age 75, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Ms. Johnson was born on April 29, 1940 at Big Clifty, KY to the late Wilford C. and Annaline Spencer Allen. She was a homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Ilsley Community Church.



Ms. Johnson is survived by three daughters ~ Dorothy J. Byerly of Indiana, Linda Johnson of Louisville, KY and Carolyn Johnson of Dawson Springs, KY, a step-son ~ Donald Johnson of Leitchfield, KY, one brother ~ Harold Allen of Big Clifty, KY, two sisters ~ Frances Geary of Leitchfield, KY and Shirley Terry of Big Clifty, KY, seven grandchildren, twelve great-granchildren, one step grandchild, and one step great grandchild.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband ~ Albert Johnson (departed July 13, 2006), a daughter ~ Lillie Ann Byerly (departed April 1, 1979), two brothers ~ Lacy James Allen and Gathel C. Allen, a sister ~ Gladys Darlene Allen (departed June 2015), and a grandson ~ Anthony Allen Johnson (departed 11-15-93).



Visitation for Ms. Janice Johnson will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 12:30:00 PM - 1:30 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs and a graveside service for Janice Johnson will be held at 2:00 P.M. at Hawkins Cemetery in Christian County, KY. Rev. John Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at Hawkins Cemetery.
