Ms. Helen J. Reed

Helen J. Reed, age 81, of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was born on November 28, 1933 in Crofton, KY to the late Clestle Eugene and Elta Aliese Davis Durham. She worked as a machinist for Simmons in Munster, IN was a member of New Hope Faithful Church.



Ms. Reed is survived by a daughter ~ Judy Walton of Winamac, IN; a son ~ William H. Lively of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Terry Lynn Durham and his wife, Sonja; a sister ~ Patsy Stewart and her husband, Bruce; a granddaughter ~ Torri Inman and her husband, Roy; a grandson ~ Jeffrey Weyer; and four great-grandchildren ~ Amari and Brason Inman and Alexis and Logan Weyer.



Preceding Ms. Reed in death were her parents; a sister ~ Dorthy Latham and two brothers ~ Charles Earl Durham and Billy Ray Durham.



Visitation for Ms. Helen Reed will be on Friday, June 12, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday June 13, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
