Ms. Deanna Faye "Dodie" Brooks

Deanna Faye “Dodie” Brooks, age 41, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Fort Logan Hospital, Stanford, KY. She was born in Christian County, KY on August 11, 1971 to Namon Ross Farris and Lurlene Knight Farris Cook. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and she was a Registered Nurse. She was of the Baptist Faith.



She is survived by her husband~Jarrett Scott “Boomer” Brooks of Hustonville, KY; mother~ Lurlene Knight Farris Cook, Hopkinsville; three daughters~Chantal Holtzclaw, Danville, McKenzie Gamache, Hustonville, & Jordyn Brooks, Hustonville; one son~ Justin Bennett, Dawson Springs; sister~ Debbie Kay Robertson, Benton; three grandchildren~ Madison Bennett, Treyson Holtzclaw, & Kadyn Bennett.



Ms. Brooks is preceded in death by her father, Namon Ross Farris.



A funeral service will be held at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Randall Rogers presiding. Friends may call at her visitation on Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 9 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2 P.M. Burial will be at Shyflat Cemetery in Christian County.



Active Pallbearers will be Billy Robertson, Logan Robertson, Dustin Crook, Robert Carmicle, Austin Bennett and Jarrett Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Matheney, Darrell Bennett, and Martin Gamache.
