Ms. Darlene Giffin

Darlene Giffin, age 55, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on February 21, 1959 to the late Joseph Giffin and Lelia Mae Morgan Giffin. Miss Giffin was physically handicapped. She loved playing with her many nieces and nephews. Miss Giffin was of the Pentecostal faith and she attended the Church Extreme in White Plains, KY.



She is survived by two sisters ~ Sheila Orten of Ilsley, KY and Dean Newberry of Dawson Springs, KY, two brothers ~ Charles Giffin and Russell Giffin both of Dawson Springs, KY and numerous nieces and nephews.



Miss Giffin is preceded in death by her parents, a sister ~ Robbie Young and a nephew ~ Anthony Collins.



Funeral services for Miss Giffin will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Pastor Troy Oakley will officiate the funeral service. A visitation for Miss Giffin will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until the funeral hour at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY.



Active pallbearers include: Christopher Franklin, Matthew Dillingham, Troy Giffin, Brad Giffin, Jeffrey Brewer and Wesley Lynn. Honorary pallbearers include: Jaxon Giffin and Alan Giffin.
