Ms. Betty Jean Baucum

Betty Jean Baucum, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at her residence. Ms. Baucum was born on October 10, 1931 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Delora Messemore and Mary Frances Miller Messemore. She was a homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.



Ms. Baucum is survived by a son ~ Larry Baucum of Dawson Springs, KY; three daughters ~ Carol (Joe) Hopper of Shelbyville, TN; Glenda (Glen) Franklin and Debbie Hayes of Dawson Springs, KY; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Ermon Eutis Baucum, Jr. (10-17-1997); Sister ~ Ruth Phaup and Brothers ~ Coy and Henry Messemore.



Visitation for Ms. Baucum will be on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY and on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donald Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the New Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, KY.
