Ms. Beatrice Parker

Beatrice Parker, age 93, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 12:30 a.m. at the Tradewater Health and Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Parker was born February 22, 1919 to the late Thurman and Cynthia Jackson Cansler in Christian County, Kentucky. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church of Dawson Springs.



Ms. Parker is survived two children; a daughter ~ Wyvonne (Wesley) Grimes of Hopkinsville, KY; a son~Phillip (Donna Faye) Parker of Dawson Springs, KY; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and nine great~great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by a half sister~ Charlotte Matheny of Crofton, KY, and a half brother~ Eural Dean Cansler of Crofton, KY.



In addition to her parents Ms. Parker was preceded in death by her beloved husband~ Ebert Parker (departed 4-1-06); a son~ Rex Dale Parker (departed 3-23-11); two sisters~ Estoil Menser and Virginia Haley; a brother~ T.L. Cansler; and her step mother~ Goldie Cansler.



Visitation for Ms. Beatrice Parker will be on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will include members of her family.
