Alice Faye Inglis, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY. She was born in Hopkins County, KY on November 13, 1945 to Christine Fields Wyatt Miller and the late Loyd J. Wyatt, Jr. She was the Ministry Activities Coordinator for the First United Methodist Church, Madisonville, KY for several years. Additionally, she was a talented seamstress, upholsterer, and a Wedding Director. Ms. Inglis was a zealous worker for her church, the First United Methodist Church of Madisonville, where she served in several capacities including Sunday School Director, as a member of the Board of Trustees, and as a volunteer hospitality worker. Additionally, she was a lifetime PTA Member and served as the president of the local PTA.
She is survived by her mother ~ Christine Fields Wyatt Miller of Lebanon, TN, two sons ~ Greg Inglis of Madisonville, KY, and David “Butch” Inglis of Georgetown, KY, two grandsons ~ Ross Andrew Inglis and Nathan David Inglis, a brother ~ James Thomas Wyatt of Madisonville, KY and a half sister ~ Elaine Wilson of Lebanon, TN
Ms. Inglis is preceded in death by her father, her husband ~ Charles David Inglis (departed 1-4-2002), a brother ~ Eugene Wyatt, and a half brother ~ Michael Wyatt.
A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held in honor of Alice Faye Inglis this Sunday, February 22, 2015, 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Madisonville, KY with the Rev. Dale A. Carden officiating. There will be a graveside service on Monday, February 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Rosedale Cemetery, Dawson Springs with the Rev. Junior Lisanby officiating.
