Mrs. Willie "Marie" Allen

Willie “Marie” Allen, age 90, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Tradewater Pointe Nursing Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Allen was born on August 23, 1925 in Christian County, KY to Clyde and Mildred Jenkins Seibert. She worked for many years at Arvin Industries and Ottenheimer Manufacturing and was a member of Charleston Missionary Baptist Church.



Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law ~ Bonnie & Donnie Ford of Dawson Springs, KY; three brothers and sisters-in-law ~ Dr. Paul & Virginia L. Seibert of Princeton, KY, Clyde, Jr. & Loretta Seibert of Lewis, DE, and Bill & Beverly Seibert of Dawson Springs, KY; five grandchildren ~ Rhonda (Frank) Eaves, LaDonna (Eddie) Hooper, Mark (Manesha) Ford, Taylor Allen and Jaime Allen (Mike) Opalek; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Allen in death were her parents; her husband ~ Franklin C. Allen; a sister ~ Jean Oatts and three sons ~ Stanley Allen, Donnie Allen and Franklin Allen, Jr.



Visitation for Mrs. Willie “Marie” Allen will be on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Patrick Yates and Dr. Calvin Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in McNeely Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Mark Ford, Lance Pace, Ryan Pace, Joel Eaves, Shane Cavanaugh, Wayne Whitaker, Carter Ford and Nolan Ford. Honorary Pallbearers will be Taylor Allen and Micah Ford.
