Mrs. Willa Dean Burris

Willa Dean Burris, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on June 28, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Burris was born on July 28, 1929 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. She was a 1948 graduate of Dawson Springs High School and a member of Beulah Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Outwood Hospital where she worked as the personnel officer.



Mrs. Burris is survived by two brothers ~ James R. Dunbar of Dawson Springs, KY & Floyd Wayne (Clara) Dunbar of Mayville, NY; a niece and caregiver and her husband ~ Patti & Chris Ashby of Dawson Springs, KY; and several nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by parents ~ Volney & Lelia Jones Dunbar; her husband ~ Allen E. Burris and a son ~ David A. Burris.



Visitation for Mrs. Willa Dean Burris will be on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at1:00 P.M. on July 2, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Mitchell and Rev. James McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
