Mrs. Vera Doris Laffoon

Vera Doris Laffoon, age 74, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on June 8, 2012 at her residence. Ms. Laffoon was born on February 4, 1938 in Kentucky. She worked for 27 years for the New Dawson Nursing Home in Dawson Springs, KY and she was of Baptist faith.



Ms. Laffoon is survived by one daughter & son-in-law~ Angie (Jeff) Morris of Dawson Springs, KY; and a son~ Alan Laffoon of Louisville, KY; Additionally, she is survived by two grandchildren~ Chris & Craig Morris.



She was preceded in death by her father~ Albert Harvey Garrett, and her mother~ Cleopatra Lanham Garrett. Additionally, she is preceded in death by her husband~ Edward Owen Laffoon (10-25-1999).



Visitation for Ms. Vera Doris Laffoon will be on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at1:00 P.M. on June 11, 2012 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. David Frisby officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery near Dawson Springs, KY.
