Mrs. Shirley Mae Drennan

Shirley Mae Drennan, age 80, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Drennan was born on May 8, 1936 in Ilsley, KY to Clifton Pratt Haithcoat and Stella Mae Ausenbaugh Barton. She worked for many years as a housekeeper and was a member of Walnut Grove Family Worship Center for 40 years.



Mrs. Drennan is survived by five daughters ~ Vickey Edwards of Dawson Springs, KY, Sharon Gibbs of Madisonville, KY, Susan Miller of Hopkinsville, KY, Katherine Bannister of Eddyville, KY and Annie Prowell of Princeton, KY; three sons ~ Clifton Drennan of Princeton, KY, Eugene Drennan of Dawson Springs, KY and JD Drennan of Madisonville, KY; thirty- four grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Harvey Drennan; a daughter ~ Alice Mae Drennan; two sons ~ Charles Drennan and Harvey Drennan, Jr.; two sisters ~ June Haithcoat and Mary A. Beshear; and two brothers ~ Clifford Haithcoat and Donnie Nave.



Visitation for Mrs. Shirley Mae Drennan will be Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 PM at Walnut Grove Worship Center in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Walnut Grove Worship Center with Rev. Joshua Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Michael Miller, Jonathan Drennan, Perry Abbott, Doc Ladd, Boogie Jones and Ben Dukes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Riley, Virgil Mitchell, Denver Lindsey, Aric Cummings and Steve Boyd.
