Mrs. Rosa Workman Bearden

Rosa Workman Bearden, age 68,of Charleston, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at National Health Care Center in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Workman was born April 4, 1944 in Evansville, IN to Ford and Lucy Holt Workman. She was a graduate of Charleston High School, attended Bethel College in Hopkinsville, KY and graduated from Western Kentucky University. She taught Head Start in many schools in Hopkins County and was a member of the Daughter of the Confederacy and the First Baptist Church of Charleston, KY.



She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years ~ Kenneth B. Bearden; three sons & daughters-in-law ~ Eric Bearden & LeAnn Crossman of Hopkinsville, KY, Kyle & Janice Bearden & Jim & Christy Bearden all of Bowling Green, KY; a sister ~ Ann McGrew of Charleston, KY; a brother ~ Wayne Workman of Charleston, KY; seven grandchildren who gave her much joy ~ Shane “The #1 Boy,” Cole “The Tall One,” Shelby “Miss Dimples,” Lauren Elizabeth “The Runner,” Zachary “The Artist,” Nathan “The Modest One, & Patrick “The Tractor Boy.”



Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother ~ Warren Ray “Bud” Workman.



Visitation will be on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 at Beshear Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Bryant officiating.
