Mrs. Oretha Mae Todd

Oretha Mae Todd, age 73, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Todd was born on February 22, 1940, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Elic Paul & Vadie Lucille Blaine Dickerson. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and also was a convenience store manager for many years.



Mrs. Todd is survived by two daughters ~ Darlene Adcock of Dawson Springs, KY and Cathy Denise Clayton of Dawson Springs, KY; four sons ~ Timothy Winters of Raceland, LA, Melvin Todd of Dawson Springs, KY, Roger Pritchard of Hobart, IN and Roger “Deno” Todd of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Fay Davis of Lincoln Park, MI; three brothers ~ Eugene Dickerson of Madisonville, KY, Leroy Dickerson of Beulah, KY and Michael Dickerson of Rabbit Ridge, KY; twenty grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Todd in death were her parents; her husband- Edward Todd (departed 10/12/2001,) a grandson ~ Anthony Arnold Todd; a brother ~ James Paul Dickerson and a sister ~ Wanda Pleasant.



Visitation for Mrs. Todd will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 and from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 18, 2013 with Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
