Mrs. Opal Felker Dockery

Opal Felker Dockery, age 85, of Nebo, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Dockery was born on November 18, 1928 in Caldwell County, Kentucky to the late Willie and Cora Morris Felker. Mrs. Dockery was a beloved mother and homemaker and also worked at Arvin and Enro Manufacturing. She was of the Baptist faith.



Mrs. Dockery is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Carolyn and Danny McKinney of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren ~ Cassie Storie and Celena Hammack; one great-granddaughter ~ Rylie Hammack and her caregivers ~ Brenda Hanks and Tiffany Allsbrooks.



Preceding Mrs. Dockery in death were her parents; her husband ~ David Dockery (departed in 2000), a sister~ Bessie Buchana and a brother ~ Harold Felker.



Visitation for Mrs. Opal Felker Dockery will be on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Elder Jeff Winfrey officiating. Burial will follow in New Beulah Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Danny McKinney, Ronnie Kirkwood, Jarriot Storie and Ricky Kirkwood.
