Mrs. Mildred Sisk Cotton

Mildred Opal Sisk Cotton, age 93, of Ilsley, KY passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 with her family by her side. Mrs. Cotton was born on May 18, 1922 in Christian County, KY to the late Leonard and Claudia Sisk. She worked for many years and raised a family of 5 children. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She had a strong faith and attended Earlington General Baptist Church.



Mrs. Cotton is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Diann and Jeff Gilmore of Colorado Springs, CO; four sons and daughters-in-law ~ Barry & Debby Cotton of Tampa, FL, David & Jeri Cotton of Dawson Springs, KY, Jackie and Dianne Cotton of St. Charles, KY and Joey & Melia Cotton of Jamestown, ND; two sisters ~ Josephine Haile and Myrtle Johnston both of Ilsley, KY. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years ~ Rufus “Dude” Cotton and two brothers ~ Johnny and Maurice Sisk.



Visitation for Mrs. Mildred Sisk Cotton will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. -2:00 P.M.at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2015 with Rev. Alan Menser and Rev. Danny Earl officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Kevin Cotton, Jeff Gilmore, Jon Gilmore, Woodrow Haile, Johnny Hoard, Anthony Sisk, Wade Simons and Ricky Woodruff
