Mrs. Maxine Adams

Maxine Adams, age 79, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, February 15, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Adams was born on January 5, 1937 in Baulah, KY to the late Oscar Neal Summers and Bertha Lee Dillingham. She was a homemaker, and a beloved mother and grandmother and a member of Union Temple Church.



Mrs. Adams is survived by a daughter ~ Sandy (Johnny) Stokes of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Steve Adams and Willie (Darla) Adams both of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Townes Summers of Providence, KY; nine grandchildren ~ Carol & Ricky Nichols; Corde & Shirley Trotter, Sha & Keith Satterfield, Chris & Krystal Grant, Sierra & Ernie McKinney, Roxie Adams Jeremiah Adams and Jacob Adams (Madison Fight) and Nick Hester; nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Earl Adams; a grandson ~ Tyler Adams and four brothers ~ Neal Summers, Harold Summers, Kenneth Summers and Bernard Summers.



Visitation for Mrs. Maxine Adams will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 and on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 8:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 on Thursday, February 18, 2016 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. David Hoard officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, Kentucky.



Active Pallbearers will be Chris Grant, Jeremiah Adams, Quinten Gordon, Jacob Adams, Stephen Gordon and Ethan Trotter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nick Hester, Jadon Towe and Vinny Iannino.
