Mrs. Mary "Louise" Thomason

Mary 'Louise' Thomason, age 96, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born on October 4, 1919 in Crittenden County, KY to the late Rawleigh and Eula Ladd Clark. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dawson Springs for 64 years and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Dawson Springs Chapter. She loved sewing, quilting and especially cooking for her family.



Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years ~ Luther “Ed” Thomason in 2007.



Survivors include her only child ~ Don (Daisy) Thomason of Owensboro, KY; a granddaughter ~ Dr. Jesica (Danny) Mills of Owensboro, KY; two grandsons ~ Jim (Vonnie) Thomason of Old Hickory, TN and Don (Kathy) Thomason, Jr. of Morgantown, KY and a great-granddaughter ~ Rachel Thomason of Old Hickory, TN.



Visitation for Mrs. Mary Louise Thomason will be on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. David Fambrough officiating Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
