Mrs. Lyda Jo Barnett

Lyda Jo Barnett, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Barnett was born on March 2, 1933 in Caldwell County, KY to the late Ezell & Verla Haile Pleasant. She was a mother and homemaker and was a member of House of Hope Church.



Mrs. Barnett is survived by a daughter and son-in-law ~ Connie & Ronald Cunningham of Hopkinsville, KY; a daughter ~ Lori Corbin of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons ~ Calvin “Tinker” Barnett and John “Shade Tree” Barnett both of Dawson Springs, KY; eight grandchildren ~ Paige (Brandon) Johnson, Amanda (Jason) Uchiyama, Travis Barnett, Joey Barnett, Greg Barnett, Tristian Barnett, Kimberly Hale & Roger Lee Hale; and fifteen great-grandchildren ~ Parker, Kailyn, Addie Jo, Jaxon, Lexie, Jaidyn, Ian, Abel, Cade, Gracie, Michael, Ricky, Ashlynn, Sidney & Tanner.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Otis D. Barnett on June 19, 2003 and two great-grandchildren.



Visitation for Mrs. Lyda Jo Barnett will be on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 9:00 A.M. -2:00 P.M.at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 with Rev. Raymond Farmer and Rev. Thad Hopper officiating. Burial will follow in Castleberry Cemetery.



Pallbearers will be Brian Barnett, Tommy McGraw, Jason Pollard, Darrell Bennett, Brad Pollard, James “Stick” Bennett, Ricky Thorpe and Bobby Thorpe.
