Mrs. Joanna Croft Holmes

Joanna Love Croft Holmes, age 67, of Madisonville, KY, passed away, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Holmes was born February 12, 1946 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Roy Lee Love and Rosie Lee Hale Love. She was a beloved mother and homemaker.



Mrs. Holmes is survived by her husband ~ Bennie Holmes of Madisonville, KY; a daughter ~ Loretta Knight of Hopkinsville, KY; three sons ~ Thomas Croft of Hopkinsville, KY, Dale Croft and Douglas Croft both of Hopkinsville, KY; one sister~ Patricia Joiner of Hopkinsville, KY; one brother ~ Roy Love of Hopkinsville, KY; fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.



Mrs. Holmes is preceded in death by her parents; her former husband ~ George Clifton Croft; two sons ~ George Clifton Croft, Jr. and John Wayne Croft.



Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 30, 2013, from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:0 0 P.M. Rev. William Morgan will conduct the funeral service at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 P.M.. Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery in Christian County, KY.



Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons: Kevin Croft, Douglas Croft, Michael Croft , John Croft, Dale Croft and Thomas Croft.
