Mrs. Janice Leon Royal

Janice Leon Royal, age 49, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at her residence following a long illness. Mrs. Royal was born on July 29, 1966 in Madisonville, KY to the late Paul P. Bean and Helen Joyce Earl Bean. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for nursing facilities and also worked at Outwood. She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY.



Mrs. Royal is survived by her husband of 33 years ~ Tony Royal of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Amber (Preston) Hackney of Ilsley, KY; a special young lady who was like a daughter ~ Ashley Aguilar; a son ~ Mickey Allen (Amanda) Royal of Ilsley, KY; two sisters ~ Susie Beach of Madisonville, KY and Sharon Bean of St. Charles, KY; three brothers ~ Danny “R.D.” Vandiver of St. Charles, KY, James (Shorty) Bean of Dawson Springs, KY and Luther “Bootsie” Bean of Nortonville, KY; four grandchildren ~ Haven Elizabeth Royal, Hunter Cole Royal, Madeline Doss and Ainsleigh (Monkey) Hackney; and six step-grandchildren ~ Tra Hackney, Riven Hackney, Ashton Mitchell-Royal, Rebecca Satterfield-Royal, Phoebe Satterfield-Royal and Patience Satterfield-Royal.



She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother ~ Jerry “Munk” Bean.



Visitation for Mrs. Royal will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Steve Stone, Rev. Allen Menser, Rev. Darrell Menser and Amber Hackney officiating. Burial will follow on the Royal family property.



Active Pallbearers will be Holly Stone, Robert Pollard , Doug Royal, Preston Hackney, Seth Bean and Travis Crook. Honorary Pallbearers will be Colton Bean, David Walls and Kevin Plunkette.
