Mrs. Iris Harlene Stone

Iris Harlene Stone, age 74, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Stone was born on June 2, 1940 in Hopkins County, KY to the late Harley William Redden and Iris Annalene Carlton Redden Cunningham. She was a mother, homemaker and worked for several years at Ottenheimer Manufacturing. Mrs. Stone was a 1958 graduate of Charleston High School and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Dawson Springs, KY.



Mrs. Stone is survived by her husband of 53 years ~ Ed Stone of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Cindy Diane Savage of Delaware and Cathy Jean Hermann of Hanson, KY; a son ~ Mark Stone of Dawson Springs, KY; five grandchildren ~ Lila Cavanah, Larry Steven Putty, Seth Harley Amos Montgomery, John (J.R.)Savage, and Derek Savage and eleven great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister ~ Phyllis Ann Pike



Visitation for Mrs. Iris Stone will be on Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home on Friday, May 1, 2015 with Rev. Carl Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, KY with Father Bruce Fogle officiating the committal service.



Active Pallbearers will be Larry Putty, Joseph Cavanah, Chad Hickerson, Timmy Johnston, Josh Putty and Keith Steeley. Honorary Pallbearer will be Seth Montgomery.
