Mrs. Geraldine Mccarter

Geraldine McCarter, age 82, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on September 6, 2013 at the Tradewater Health & Rehabilitation Center of Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. McCarter was born February 17, 1931, in Christian County, KY, to the late George and Addie Lee Farris Croft. She was a restaurant owner for many years.



Mrs. McCarter was survived by three step children ~ Pam Webb of Louisville, KY, Wayne McCarter of Florida and Michael McCarter of Arizona; one niece~ Loretta Knight of Hopkinsville, KY, three nephews~ Tom Croft, Dale Croft and Doug Croft of Crofton, KY; and her caregivers~ Judy and Bill Fulks of Dawson Springs, KY.



Preceding Mrs. McCarter in death were her parents; her husband- O.B. McCarter (departed 12/13/02), two sisters~ Ava Lee Dawson and Bertha Croft, and two brothers~ Clifton and Luther Croft.



Visitation for Mrs. McCarter will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 8, 2013 and from 9:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 9, 2013 at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, September 9, 2013 with Rev. Johnny Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in McKnight Cemetery in Northern Christian County, KY.
