Mrs. Geneva Cranor

Geneva Cranor, age 76, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Fredonia, Kentucky. Mrs. Cranor was born on February 3, 1940 in Earlington, KY to the late Lawson and Anita Woodruff Payne. She worked as a dietary cook and was a beloved mother and homemaker. Mrs. Cranor was a member of Midway Valley Pentecostal Church.



Mrs. Cranor is survived by her daughter and son-in-law ~ Marilyn and Mickey Walls of Fredonia, KY; two sons and daughters-in-law ~ Herbert Wayne and Joyce Cranor of Dawson Springs, KY, Larry Eugene and Casey Cranor of Princeton, KY; two brothers ~ Ed Payne of Princeton, KY and Billy Payne of Dawson Springs, KY; twenty-one grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Cranor in death were her parents and her husband ~ Herbert Hoover Cranor (departed 9/18/2006)



Visitation for Mrs. Geneva Cranor will be on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 P.M.at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Cody Walls and Rev. Oscar Walls officiating. Burial will follow in Cranor Cemetery in St. Charles, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Baker, Jeremy Gordon, Jamie Cobble, Trace Bruce, Tyler Cummins and Shaun Walls.
