Mrs. Fairy Ellen Haley Bennett

Fairy Ellen Haley Bennett, age 99, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Tradewater Health & Rehab in Dawson Springs, KY. Mrs. Bennett was born on August 6, 1914 in Hopkins County, KY to the late John Crittenden Haley and Pocahontas Haley. She was a beloved homemaker and member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.



Mrs. Bennett is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law ~ Ruth and Dudley Riley of Dawson Springs, KY and Euvenah Jane and Louie Lantrip of Nortonville, KY; a son ~ Wayne Bennett of Greenville, KY; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Ollie Earl Bennett (departed 1/20/1972) a son ~ Larry Gene Bennett; a sister ~ Maudie Mae and a brother ~ Harry Haley.



Visitation for Mrs. Fairy Ellen Bennett will be on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2014 with Rev. Clifton Vandiver officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY.



Pallbearers will be Matthew Lantrip, Wesley Reynolds, Lee Moore, Lucas Lantrip, Chris Bennett and Ituriel Gutierrez.
