Mrs. Ernestine Akin Wynn

Ernestine Faye Akin Wynn, age 91, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at VNA Plus Charlier Hospice, Evansville, IN. Mrs. Wynn was born on July 26, 1922, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Benny Ross Morgan and Georgia Faye Blackburn. She was a mother and homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.



Mrs. Wynn is survived by two sons ~ Billy Wayne Akin of Dawson Springs, KY and Douglas Stephen Akin of Hopkinsville, KY; a sister ~ Mary Jones of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother ~ Bennie Morgan of Dawson Springs, KY; two step-daughters ~ Teresa Ruff and Patsy Arvin; one step-son ~ Kenny Wynn; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.



Preceding Mrs. Wynn in death are her parents; her first husband ~ Edwin Morrow “Buck” Akin (departed 11/15/1972;) her second husband ~ Euin Wynn and a son ~ Wendell Ray Akin.



Visitation for Mrs. Ernestine Akin Wynn will be Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Redden officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will be Doug Akin, Kent Akin, Anthony Jones, James Akin and Zack Crook.
