Mrs. Elizabeth Orene Russell

Elizabeth Orene Russell, age 90, of Madisonville, KY, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at National Health Care in Madisonville, KY. Mrs. Russell was born on August 4, 1921 in Town Creek, Alabama. She was a beloved mother and homemaker and also worked as a chef at Pennyrile Lodge for many years.



Mrs. Russell is survived by a daughter & son-in-law ~ Jane & Mike Johnston of Madisonville, KY; two grandchildren ~ Kim (Ken) Laffoon & Tim Luttrell; two great-grandchildren ~ Cody Luttrell & Josh Laffoon & one great-great granddaughter.



Preceding Mrs. Russell in death were her parents ~ Harley & Era Berryman Adcock; her husband ~ Hubert Russell (departed 1999), a great-granddaughter ~ Krystal Laffoon and a brother ~ James Adcock.



Visitation for Mrs. Elizabeth Russell will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 12;00 – 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Rickard officiating. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery in Ilsley, KY.



Active Pallbearers will be Ken Laffoon, Timmy Luttrell, Don Williams, Mike Johnston, Cody Luttrell & Josh Laffoon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rev. Gary Bennett & Rev. Phillip Bennett.
