Mrs. Edna Faye Cansler

Edna Faye Cansler, age 87, of Newburgh, IN and formerly of Dawson Springs, KY died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Newburgh Health Care, Newburgh, IN. She was born in Christian County, KY on April 7, 1925 to the late Tom and Lola Eli Parker. She worked for 20 years at the Western State Hospital and she was a beloved mother and housewife. Ms. Cansler was a member of the Shyflat Tabernacle Church in Christian County, KY and a Sexton of the Shyflat Tabernacle Church Cemetery for many years.



She is survived by a son~ Ronald Gary Cansler of Lake Charles, Louisiana and three grandchildren~ Jeff Cansler, Rona Locke and Pam Bowyer.



She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband ~ Raymond L. Cansler (12-19-2000), and a son~ Donald R. Cansler (1991).



A funeral service for Ms. Cansler will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY with Rev. Ricky Denny and Rev. Bobby McKnight presiding. Visitation for Ms. Cansler will be on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and again on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
