Mrs. Delana Elizabeth Prince

Delana Elizabeth Prince, age 80, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Princeton Health & Rehab in Princeton, KY. Mrs. Prince was born on October 28, 1934, in Hopkins County, KY, to the late Hugh Chester and Lula Belle Hamby Calvert. She was a graduate of Charleston High School and a member of Dunn Missionary Baptist Church.



Mrs. Prince is survived by three sons ~ Timothy Prince of Anderson, SC, Daniel Prince of Hanson, KY and Hugh William Prince of Houston, TX; four grandchildren ~ Angie Kolar, Lynzie Morse, Hunter Prince & Nicole Prince; three great-grandchildren ~ Georganna Kolar, Emma Kolar & Ramzie Morse.



Preceding Mrs. Prince in death were her parents, her husband ~ Howard Prince (departed 12/25/2013), and three sisters ~ Artist Creekmur, Carmen Coats & Edith Aiken.



Visitation for Mrs. Delana Prince will be on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Wayne Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.



Pallbearers will be Joe Workman, Hunter Prince, Gayle Nelson, James Musgrove, Anthony Akin, Brian Coats and Ronnie Coats.
