Mrs. Betty Lou Martin

Betty Lou Martin, age 73, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville, IN. Ms. Martin was born on January 21, 1943 in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Alvey Adams and Stella Ladd Adams. She worked for Ottenheimers Manufacturing in Dawson Springs and she was a beloved mother and homemaker.



Ms. Martin is survived by two daughters ~ Barbara Shipp and Julie Yeager of Dawson Springs, KY and one son ~ Tim (Melissa) Martin of Dawson Springs, KY, brother ~ Larry Adams of Dawson Springs, KY, two sisters ~ Lucille Kimberlin of Vancouver, WA, and Jean Gray of Dawson Springs, KY, six grandchildren ~ Keith Shipp, David Shipp, Wendy Thorpe, Lori Martin, Kevin Yeager, Katie Yeager, and three great-grandchildren ~ Hailey Shipp, Neal Shipp, and Logan Thorpe.



Preceding Ms Martin in death are her parents, husband ~ Donald Martin, brothers ~ James Adams, Earl Adams, Jimmy Adams, and Joe David Adams.



Visitation for Ms Martin will be on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home and on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Bobby Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Cemetery.
