Mr. Willis Ray "Billy" Grant

Willis Ray “Billy” Grant, Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY. Mr. Grant was born March 7, 1941 in Christian County, KY. He worked for 16 years at Outwood in the Laundry Department. He was of the Holiness Faith.



Mr. Grant is survived by four daughters~Debbie (John) Ballard of New Brockton, AL; Cindi Blankenship of Hopkinsville, KY; Wanda Adcock of Murray, KY and Christine Word of Hopkinsville, KY; One son~ James Grant; Three Sisters~Margaret Ladd, Anna Hays and Virginia Sue Akin all of Dawson Springs, KY; a brother~Ronnie Grant of Dawson Springs, KY; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren. Preceding Mr. Grant in death was his father~James Elbert Grant; his mother~ Daisy Mae Grant; a brother~Bennie Joe Grant; a sister~Agnes Pauline Bennett.



Friends may call at Beshear Funeral Home on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., and on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted for Mr. Grant by Rev. Johnny Gibson on October 1, 2011 at Beshear Funeral Home with burial to follow in Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jessie Eli, John Ballard, Glenn Sisk, John Trump, Adam Hays, and Samuel Akin. Honorary Pall Bearers are Timothy Trump and Aaron Hays.
