William Roy Cranor, age 63, of Dawson Springs, KY, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Cranor was born on March 10, 1952 in Dawson Springs, KY to Wilma Cummings Cranor and the late Walter Eugene Cranor. He worked as a meat cutter with Piggly Wiggly and Cavanaugh’s IGA and was a member of Grapevine Baptist Church. He was the #1 University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and was also a 1970 graduate of Caldwell County High School. Mr. Cranor was a Mason and a Kentucky Colonel.
Surviving family members include his mother; his wife ~ Susie Murphy Cranor of Dawson Springs, KY; two sons and daughters-in-law ~ Hank and Danielle Drew of San Jose, CA and Tracy and Salli Drew of Charleston, IL; and two grandchildren ~ Zoey Drew and Aubrey Drew.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation for Mr. William Cranor will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home in Dawson Springs, KY. Mason Services will follow at 8:00 P.M. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Beshear Funeral Home with Funeral Services to be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Beshear Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Rogers, Rev. Tim Morgan and Rev. Bob Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY.
Active Pallbearers will be Billy Adams, Josh Messamore, Jacob Messamore, Tommy Vass, Dale Bryer and Buddy Castle. Terry Messamore, Richard Hatley, Don Egbert and Dakota Berry will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
