Mr. William "Bill" Donald Nelson

William Donald “Bill” Nelson, age 73 of Dawson Springs, passed away Monday night, August 24, 2015 at his home. Mr. Nelson was born April 27, 1942 in Madisonville, KY to the late William Bruce Nelson and Margaret Purdy Nelson. He was of the Christian faith and also served his country in the United States Navy. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.



Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife of 50 years ~ Elsie Pauline Nelson of Dawson Springs, KY; his daughter ~ Stacey Nelson of Dawson Springs, KY and three grandchildren ~ Kristen Nelson Howton, Earl Nelson, and Doyle Nelson.



He was preceded in death by his parents and a son ~ William Nelson Jr.



A memorial service for Mr. William Donald “Bill” Nelson will be held at a later date.
