Mr. Warren Thomas "Bud" Bennett

Warren Thomas “Bud” Bennett, age 69, of Ilsley, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Bennett was born on December 7, 1945 in Hopkins County, Kentucky to the late Benton Bennett, Sr. and Mattie Walker Bennett. He was of General Baptist Faith. He worked for twenty three years as a coal miner—working for Providence #1 and Ziegler Mines.



Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife ~ Mildred “Milly” Petitt Bennett of Ilsley, Kentucky; two sons ~ Kendall Bennett of Greenville, Kentucky and Darrell Bennett of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; three sisters ~ Becky Brandon of Ilsley, Kentucky, Phyllis Ann Mashburn of Madisonville, Kentucky and Ruth Linco of Evansville, Indiana; two brothers ~ Randy Bennett of St. Charles, Kentucky and Wally Ware of Madisonville, Kentucky, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.



Preceding Mr. Bennett in death were his parents, a daughter ~ Sabrina Ann Hulsey, (6-8-13), a brother ~ Benton Bennett, Jr., and a sister ~ Janie Chaney.



A visitation for Mr. Bennett will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, Kentucky, and on Saturday, December 20, 2014 visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Rev. Brian Richardson and Rev. Dwight Darnell will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Ilsley Cemetery.



Active Pallbearers include Darrell and Kendall Bennett, Gussie Hulsey, Trent Brandon, Mike Bowman and Dr. Robert Wood. Honorary Pallbearers include Becky Brandon, David Chaney, and Royce Pace.
