Mr. Victor Wayne Otterson, Sr.

Victor Wayne Otterson, Sr., age 58, of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway, Newburgh, Indiana. He was born on August 28, 1956 in Waukegan, Illinois to Ronald Otterson and Sherry Mary Jean Powers Otterson. Mr. Otterson was of Christian Faith and he installed roofing professionally for many years.



He is survived by his mother; a fiance’ ~ Kathy Sue Howton Cotton of Dawson Springs, KY; two daughters ~ Kandi Cotton and Jennifer Moore; four sons ~ Victor Otterson, Jr., Alex Otterson, Scott Moore, and B. J. Cotton ; two brothers ~ Ronald Otterson, Jr., and Randy Otterson, and four grandchildren.



Mr. Otterson was preceded in death by his father; and a brother ~ Steven Otterson.



Visitation for Mr. Otterson will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour at 1:30 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Michael Knight and Rev. Donnie Howton at 1:30 PM, Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County, Kentucky.



Active Pallbearers will be B.J. Cotton, Randy Otterson, Jr., Braxton Cotton, Randy Otterson, Sr., Chris Alfred and Cody Alfred.
